Fox City Brewing Company Information

Walking into Fox City Brewing Company, you immediately get that laid-back, small-town brewery vibe that feels both welcoming and a little bit lively. The location right in downtown Forsyth makes it an easy stop whether you’re passing through or a local looking for a reliable spot to unwind. The space itself blends rustic charm with a modern touch-think exposed brick, warm lighting, and the soft hum of conversation mixed with the occasional clink of glasses from the bar.

The menu leans heavily into classic American comfort food with a brewery twist, and it’s clear they’ve put thought into pairing their dishes with their house-made beers. Burgers are a standout here-juicy, well-seasoned, and served with that satisfying balance of crisp edges and tender centers. One visit included a bacon cheeseburger that hit all the right notes, especially when paired with their craft IPA, which had a clean, slightly citrusy finish. Their wings also deserve a mention, tossed in sauces that range from tangy to properly spicy without overwhelming the flavor of the meat.

Beer is obviously a big part of the experience at Fox City Brewing Company, and the selection rotates enough to keep things interesting. From lighter lagers to darker, more robust stouts, there’s something for both casual drinkers and craft beer enthusiasts. While the menu descriptions are helpful, the staff are even better at guiding you-they’re approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to enjoy helping guests find something they’ll like.

Service overall feels attentive without being overbearing. During a weekend visit, the place was busy but not chaotic, and drinks and food still arrived in a reasonable time. It’s the kind of spot where you can linger a bit, whether you’re catching up with friends or just enjoying a slow meal.

Reviews from other diners often highlight the consistency, and that seems accurate based on experience. While the menu isn’t overly expansive, it covers enough ground to appeal to different tastes, and the quality holds steady. If there’s any limitation, it’s that options for more specialized diets might be a bit limited, but for most diners looking for hearty food and good beer, it delivers exactly what you’d expect-and maybe a little more.

What People's Say About Place

Date of service: 9/25/25 Walking in, I was greeted promptly by a group of smiling young people that were at the front reception desk. I was seated immediately and offered amazing service the entire time I was there. I ordered the buffalo wings and the Fox Den smash burger with a side of fries. The wings were flavorful and crispy. Almost a little too crispy for my liking, but that’s just a personal preference. The burger, while decent, could have been seasoned a bit better. The onion rings were super crispy and had great flavor. Those were awesome! If I could give a 4.5 star rating I would. The thing that certainly sets this place apart and outshines any “issues” with the food is the service. I made it a point to let the manager know just how good of a job his crew was doing. I’ll certainly be back there again next time I’m in town!

Service very nice and attentive. Atmosphere is pretty cool inside. Does look better inside than out. Food was OK. Fries were luke warm at best, some where tough. They weren't fresh. The Fox City Frenzy burger was ok. The flavor was there, but the burger patty was dry, along with the bacon. Maybe I'm over thinking a smash burger being a little greasy, with crisp edges.

We have been several times. Get the Buffalo Chicken Dip with an extra cup of hot sauce on the side. We love spicy and it is great. They have added pool tables and dart boards in the main tap room - nice addition. Currently they are not charging to play, just have to leave an ID with the bar tender. This could change. We will be back.

Fox City Brewing Company is an easygoing restaurant with a good menu. I ordered the Fox City Frenzy, which was a smashburger that had pimento cheese and pepper jelly. It was very good and went well with sweet potato fries!

We had a great experience at Fox City Brewing in Forsyth. It’s located right in the historic downtown area on Kimball Road, inside one of the old downtown buildings, which is such a cool touch. The inside has tons of space with a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and it’s fun just taking in the character of the building. The food was excellent all around. I had the fried shrimp dinner and the hush puppies were absolutely amazing. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and loved them, and my boyfriend had the Philly cheesesteak, which was also really good. Definitely recommend the sweet potato fries. They were a standout. We also appreciated the wide variety of beers on tap, so there’s something for everyone, and finishing the meal with apple cobbler was the perfect ending. Our waitress did have a small mix up with one of our orders, but it was corrected quickly and everything came out hot and fresh, so it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Overall, it’s a great place to hang out, eat well, and enjoy a laid back atmosphere. If you have time, walking around downtown Forsyth before or after is a nice bonus. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband & I stopped here for the first time and I can assure you we will be back! We always try to go to local restaurants when we travel rather than chain restaurants. The atmosphere at Fox City Brewing Company is rustic and authentic to the history of the building. Our server, Addison, was very pleasant and attentive to us. She relayed our cooking preferences to the kitchen staff and everything we ordered was perfect. I am not a fan of “smash burgers” so she told me that I could request a regular burger. I ordered it medium rare and it is not an exaggeration to say that it was the absolute best burger I have EVER had in a restaurant! The flavor of the beef was so good and it was so juicy that it didn’t even need ketchup! Needless to say, the beer was AMAZING! We met one of the owners who was extremely nice and he gave us some of the history of the building. We had a great night after a long day of driving and we will definitely make Fox City Brewing Company our “go to” place on our travels!

I've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it's been wonderful everytime. My wife and I enjoy going for date night. We're not big drinkers but we do on occasion. My wife loves their specialty cocktails and I like sampling their fantastic craft brews. The Pulled Pork Sliders, the Ribeye Cheesesteak, the Shrimp PoBoy are some of our favorite. Last night I sampled the Garlic Parmesan Wings and they didn't disappoint. The staff is so wonderful as well. Can't wait to go back!

Go to Queen Bee Coffee pretty regularly and really never visited Fox Brewery until now. We ate breakfast there and the Chicken and Waffles were very good. Love the rustic decor of the place, just a gutted out warehouse vibe and it’s super cool! The brewery is very cool and entire facility is way bigger inside than it appears. Definitely plan to stop by more often!
